Has anyone had long term success with body wraps? I hear you can lose inches but I'm skeptive. I am losing weight the old fashioned way but with the beach coming up soon wondered about them.

I haven't tried any myself because I see them as a "quick fix" kind of thing and have yet to meet anyone who has had success with it. This doesn't mean they don't work but I personally wouldn't spend the money.

Yeah I've heard about people losing inches and I've also heard it lasts up to 6 months. I'm majorly skeptical though, I wouldn't waste my time honestly.

As I understand it there is no such thing as long term success with body wraps. It is all water weight. Yes, you will lose inches and may be worth it for a couple times if you are trying to fit into a certain dress for a special event. It is NOT long term.

I would do these before I was in a wedding. I would also be exercising at the same time and eating better. I wouldn't waste your money unless you need a quick fix. But know it is NOT long term.

From what I understand. This^^^^ is true. You can get the same effects from sitting in a sauna or standing in deep water for a period of time.

How many calories do body wraps burn?

    There's your answer.

From what I've read, they are effective in reducing bloating from water and the appearance of cellulite. However, this only lasts for about an hour or so. Unless it's THAT important to you and if you are only going to the beach for an hour, I'd skip it.
  • That's kind of what I figured. I'm not that concerned with an inch or two that will come back anyway. Who wants to waste $30-$50? I'd rather buy a cute outfit. =)
