I'm obsessed. Why oh whyyyy must it be so pricey??

    I don't know but because it is it is one of my mini rewards. One day I will fit into Lululemon!!

    It LASTS! you pay for quality (sometimes you pay for crap, but you rarely get quality for cheap!). I love it too and we're lucky to have an outlet somewhat nearby. I cannot WAIT until I can comfortably fit in more. right now, I just have a pair of Still pants, love em!

    That's such a great idea! I am going to go there this week & find a few things and do a mini reward for when I hit 20lb loss, which will be about halfway. Ooooh, now I'm excited :)

    Sister in law worked for them for years. She then went to work at other places and recently they called her and wooooed her into coming back to work for them. Her salary is CRAZY good. They basically said "name your price". So, that may explain some of the costs. And honestly, the quality and what those yoga pants do for your butt is SO worth it. A true case of "you get what you pay for". Fingers crossed she'll get a super discount for her fav sis in law ;);)

    Soon to be" ex sister in law" has a LuLu Lemon outlet in her Pilates studio...I only:grumble: have 1 item! Have to travel to buy it from some one else now!:grumble:

    Damn it! I was quite happy living in the bliss of ignorance... I have seen and heard of this brand, but never thought you could buy it in Australia (well without ebay and postage etc) but I just googled it - and there is a shop here in my city... A showroom of all things. Pretty gym gear is my obsession. I spend more money on workout gear than casual or work clothes. I love looking nice when working up a sweat.

    And I agree - money buys you quality. Here in Australia our premium brand is Lorna Jane - google it, the stuff is HOT!!!!! (its all I buy, until now, I might have to get me some gorgeous Lululemon!!!!)

    I love luluemon! There clothes are so adorable, yet very pricey. I wished I owned something from there.

    It is expensive - the pants look great and they have just the pocket I want, but I can't justify $90 for a pair of pants to sweat in when I can get them for $30 from Target.

    For the Aussies - they are everywhere - I've spotted three shops in Perth and there may be more!

    I saw heaps of runners in the Canberra marathon running in the shorts - the shape and fit looks incredible. I just presumed they'd bought offline. Thankfully Lorna Jane isnt as expensive!!

    Agreed. I went into a store because I've heard so many great things about this brand. I saw nothing special, unless you think spending $150 for yoga pants is special.

    Luon and Luxtreme are important to me. Haha

    Annnd - I just don't wear them for yoga/running. I wear a pair almost everyday. I lounge in them and do errands a majority of the time. Sorry, I still wanna "look" but feel cute and comfy at the same time! Killing 2 birds! ;)

    It is expensive because it can be. Sorry but 60 bucks for a shirt is way too much.

    I was not interested until I discovered that I could use my work health plan "wellness account" dollars for workout wear. Now it's a nice treat once a year :)

    I live in the stuff. I used to buy it pre-kids (8-9 years ago), the stuff I bought is still stylish and looks brand new--worth every penny in my opinion. Also, it's great transitional wear, I wear it throughout the day (mostly tops and occasionally looser fitting pants for casual days) and then I can also wear it to the gym , then wash it. I wash it all together, with nothing else, so it always looks new.

    Whenever I'm asked what I want for Christmas or birthdays or Mother's Day, it's always a Lulu gift card... so I have lots of pieces as gifts from my hubby.

    And a little hint? I only ever buy stuff from the We Made Too Much section... I'm cheap that way!!

    Frankly, their stuff is too expensive. I can get yoga pants for $20 that my bum looks fantastic in!

    Or maybe it's that my bum always looks fantastic... LMAO!

    i bought a pair of their shorts and i hate them. talk about ultimate wedgie... who wants that every time you do a squat or lunge!?
    i don't wear them... i'll probably give them away. bad investment of $60.

    however, i have a pair of pants that i got as a gift... they're fine. they really hang on to the cat hair though!

    I worked there for 3 years in Vancouver, Canada and it changed my life. The clothing is great but it's not the best part of the company. The best part is what's happening in the stores and behind the scenes. My life will be forever changed from that work experience - for the good. I now live in Laos and living my dream life because of the goal setting, goal coaching and support that I got from lululemon. You're not just buying a pair of stretchy pants... you're participating in a positive and health centered community that celebrates quality, creativity, activity and balance.

    I'm with you. I find it to be worth the investment though. Lift, separate and support built into flattering workout tops - yes please. Goodbye mono-boob sport bras! Plus, they LAST like no others I have owned.

    Target vs Lulu? There is NO comparison.
    You don't feel sweaty in Lulu, the material (and I use LLL terminology here) wicks it away. The material is soft, stretchy, it hides lumps and bumps. The pants are high waisted enough to not show plumber's crack but low enough to not be dowdy. The tops are long enough to hide your butt and crotch but not too long to be annoying or frumpy.
    Sometimes they have really **** colours but when they bring out nice colour ranges, they're incredible. I have a bright orange/red top, a turquoise one and a grey one and two pairs of pants. Bit too fat to buy any more but as soon as I lose it, I'm getting in there.

    My ex got me onto it, I"d never heard of Lulu before but he raaaaved and raved and raved about how hot it makes girls look. And by geez, it does.
