    Congrats on maintaining , no it isn't a loss yet , but you should be proud in the fact that you have maintained and not gained and you are TRYING!

    Having a little difficulty myself. I can't believe how much a number can effect me. When I weighed in at the dr last week I was at 310. my home scales only go to 305 It's a HUGE number but I cant wait to see it. At least then it'll give me something to work with :frown:

    I started on Mar. 17 2008

    My start weight was 280. I wanted to lose at least 100 lbs.

    Mar. 24 weigh in: 274 - 94 lbs to go

    Mar. 31 weigh in: 269 - 89 lbs to go

    April 7 weigh in 266 - 86 lbs to go

    April 14 weigh in 263 - 83 lbs to go

    April 21 weigh in 260 - 80 lbs to go
    Wahoooo!!!!! 20 lbs lost in 35 days......makes all the fretting over calories, excercising when I absolutely don't feel like it & drinking 10 glasses of water a day..................worth it!

    Wow great job everyone. I can't believe how fast some people can lose weight. I guess the hard work and determination really pays off. *Sunibc 20 lbs in 35 days is really good you should be proud*
    I am still watching what I am eating and have stayed right around my calories.....but my scale broke grrrr.... I would like to replace it. Hopefully I can make it to the store tommorow, and I will have to charge it. I hate putting things on my credit cards but I feel that the scale helps in my success. It keeps me in line. Good luck everyone. We can do this

    Sorry! I'm coming into this topic a little late, but I really want to join this challenge...

    I started really working out on January 20, 2008 and weighed in @ 276.8

    I started MFP on March 10, 2008

    I weighed in again on March 22, 2008 @ 268.2

    and....

    I weighed today @ 264.00
    As you can tell, I had a rough start, but since I've joined MFP, I feel like I'm doing a lot better!

  • Well, it's Wed. and my check in day and I still get a big fat E on the scale. Which only means I haven't hit 305 yet. 310 last week so didnt really expect it but one can always hope. Not sure if I lost but I deffinately feel better so that works for me. Good luck to everyone!

    Started on here in January at 290 lbs...

    Last week I weighed in at 227 lbs
    This morning I weighed in at 222 lbs!!!!!!

    I am so excited, the extra workout sure payed off!!! 5 lbs down this week!

    and this week i weighed in at 240

    0 pound weight loss this week :grumble:

    I haven't replied the last couple of weeks due to not weighing for 2 weeks mid-April with the hopes of a decent loss following that. Of course, that is the time my body decided to hit a plateau!! GRR!! Man, March and April have not been good to me. I hope I have gotten over it! Anyway!

    Started my new lifestyle on September 6, 2007: 270 lbs
    Weight as of last week (and most of April): 195.5
    Weight as of yesterdays weigh in: 193
    Pounds lost this week: 2.5
    Pounds lost total: 77
    Goal weight: 135
    Pounds to get there: 58

    Started changing my Life 1-2-08 274lbs
    MFP 4-15-08 258lbs
    Today 4-26-08 253 lbs

    Total lost 21 lbs

    KEEP YOUR FOOD DIARY AND EXERCISE........IT REALLY HELPS!!!!

    I just did my last weigh-in for the month, and I'm down 12 pounds. Let's see

    April 2, 2008: Joined MFP at 336 (Changed to a digital scale, which shows 5 lbs more than my old one :mad:

    April 26, 2008: 328 lbs.

    That's 8 lbs. in 4 1/2 weeks, with 1 week of stalling in there.

    Hope I did that right?? My first challenge!!

    so many of us have a 100 pound or more weight loss goal! but we can do it!!!! Support is the answer and this site provides us with great support! we are friends and we have not even met in person!!!! My arms are here for a hug when ever anyone needs it!!! We can do this together!

    Pounds to get there: 54

    I'm not really sure how I lost 4 lbs this week, but I have changed things up a bit! I have been eating more of my exercise calories than I was (like close to 1800) and on the days I don't work out, I have been staying around 1450ish.... I also upped the level on the elliptical another notch which may have helped too.

    Either way, I am HAPPY!!!
