I'm hoping someone can help with some motivational ideas here?
I'm usually up at 6:15 and in the office by 7am, get in again about 6pm and really don't feel like I have any energy to exercise.
Breakfast used to be nothing, but has been upgraded to a Slimfast shake.
Lunch is a tough one? What can I bring to eat that is healthy, I used to like sandwiches but looking at the carbs and calories in that, that looks bad. I'm not the hugest fan of salads so that makes that tough. Any lunch ideas or it is gonna have to be a protein bar lol? I even have my own fridge so there are options
Evening meals are pretty healthy since my wife isn't working we get a great healthy meal.
The biggest problem is the energy to exercise, I don't want to get up any earlier. I have time at work but no treadmill, maybe I should bring it in so I can walk during the day without the humidity.
How do other busy office people juggle this?

I also work in an office, but the hours don't sound quite as crazy as yours. Some of my tricks to keep on track through the upcoming week are to spend a few minutes Sunday night preparing snacks, etc. Individual bags of mini carrots, sliced celery with Laughing Cow cheese wedges, boiled eggs for breakfasts, etc... I make a sandwich the night before (with lite cheese, lean meats, etc... this usually comes to less than 500 cals), and then in the morning I just have to grab it and one of each of the things I prepared on Sunday. In the winter I also tend to have more leftovers... make a bigger dinner and then pre-package the leftovers into plastic containers. If I decide ahead of time I'd like to go out for lunch one day, for sushi, etc, that "main" food is the only component that changes... the breakfast, snacks, etc... all stay the same. Different things work for different people... for me, I don't find it boring, since I only pack things I like. Is it repetitive? Yes. But I like not having to think about it too much. The weekends aren't as structured and I actually find it harder to stay on track.0

I work 10 hour days - start at 6:30 am- leave at 5.
Some ideas on the workouts...try doing something that you enjoy. I'm not articulating that like I want...but if you can't stomach the thought of working out to a video or running, or something intense - try a walk instead. Walking is free, can be done anywhere, and helps relax you too. Sometimes, I take a walk around the neighborhood at work before I leave. I also take walks with some other ladies here at work on my breaks; you add up a couple 15 min breaks and a half hour walk right after work = 1 hour. Even at a slow pace, you're getting exercise in.
On the food...I think sandwiches are great. I eat them all the time. I used to "have to" have chips with mine, but I've FINALLY gotten used to having sandwich with an apple or carrots (still need crunchy!). I like chicken and wild rice (Uncle Ben's has a great, microwaveable pouch...I usually split it into two meals). I have a lot of leftovers too. I try to make extra when I make dinner so I can take something to microwave the next day. I also have an emergency drawer that I stock with healthy snack options, In addition to the fruit I keep in the fridge.
Also - use one of your work days as your "free day" for exercise. Maybe in the middle of the week. Gives you a nice break when you might need some more steam.
Good luck.0
