Weight gain after weaning?

My daughter is 6 months old. I'm looking to at least nurse her until one year, supply willing, and I have lost all of my weight while breastfeeding. I'm interested to know how other mothers continued their weight-loss efforts after stopping breastfeeding. Did you make any changes in calories or workouts? I'm slightly worried that I'm going to gain weight when I stop! I want to be prepared for what my body is going to throw at me.

You shouldn't gain any weight after weaning. Breast-feeding requires more calories to feed the baby, so when you stop breast-feeding, you won't need as many calories - so just cut those back!0
