My journey started in October of 2008. It has been a long time, but SO VERY worth it! Here's a walk down memory lane:

This was taken in August of 2006

This is the closest to a true 'before' picture that I have. It was taken in the summer of 2008.

February of 2009, I had lost about 60 pounds at this point

This was in May of 2010. I'm not sure of the exact loss when this was taken, but it was in the neighborhood of 190.

October of 2011, at the three year mark - over 210 lost.

Christmas 2011 - total loss at about 220

And this was taken today. My total weight loss is 235 pounds. I only have five more to go before I will be at my goal of a normal BMI! (Actually, that will happen in 2.3 pounds, but that's just an awkward goal - LOL!)

I could never have done this on my own. That's not just a cliche - it's a fact. I have tried and failed more times than I can tell you. If you're interested in knowing how this time was different, you can view the whole story at

My hope is that this can be an encouragement to others. It IS possible. More than 60% of my body weight is gone and I am freer than I have ever been in my life!

    Blessings!!

    That is amazing! Well done!
