Bodystep/Bodyflow

I'm just new to the gym and while i'm going to be venturing out to the equipment and weights likely next week (after my full orientation this weekend), this week my plan is to do these two classes alternating days to get myself in the habit of going and moving more. Just wondering if anyone has done either of these classes and if you liked them? I'm not terribly coordinated so I should be amusing to the others in class lol.

They are both excellent classes. BodyFlow surprised me with how much of a challenge it is. Especially the Standing Strength portion, it's about 6-9 minutes of leg terrorism, but I am much stronger for having done it. Though I typically don't take that class by itself, I usually do it after another Les Mills class like BodyPump or BodyAttack.0

Bodyflow is an amazing class i def. recommend it. I've never take bodystep but i have seen it going on and i knew it wasnt for me. Its basically a step class it looks intense which is a good thing so i would say try it out and see what u think.
Also if they offer bodypump and bodycombat those are also AMAZING classes by Les Mills. Good luck0 -
I love BodyStep! It is not easy and blasts calories.0

Thanks all!
Those classes look awesome but right now the Body Pump and Body Attack classes are only offered at times I am working *sigh* which is what led me to BodyStep and BodyFlow. I did CXWorks last week and WOW, it seemed pretty good while I was doing it, only 30 minutes, and then I hurt for 2 days afterwards lol! Will try them both out and see, if I don't like them well...next week i'll know better what to do with all the equipment so i'll figure out a routine0 -
I am taking a BodyStep Master class tonight- a little wiped from a long week already, but committed. I was planning to attend the training this weekend to get certified to teach it, but after working on the choreography this weekend, holy cow I am not ready. It is sooo fast- and so intense (and Burpees in a step class?). But I'll go tonight and do what I can, at least now they are coming out with modifications in these classes- (new rollout this last release- they are showing 3 different levels for newbies- such a good idea)0

That sounds like a great combo! I am a Les Mills BODYFLOW instructor so of course I love it and get so giddy when other people love it! Our gym doesn't offer BS but I wish it did! I'd do it for sure to mix up the cardio! I take RPM, Attack, Combat, and CXWORX...teach Flow. I used to take Pump and it really helped to slim me down, but now I lift on my own in the cage0
