Hello, everyone! The task of planning our annual family vacation for 2013 has fallen to me. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a place that was fun for both kids and adults? Everyone has decided that they are tired of the Bahamas and Disney World. Oh, and 2 of my aunts have decided that they will no longer fly anywhere. So we have to be able to drive there from Arkansas. There are 10-15 adults and kids' ages will be (2) 9 year olds, (3) 5 year olds, (1) 4 year old, and (1) 3 year old. We usually just get a couple of condos for a week wherever we go. Thanks everyone!

What time of year do you plan to take your vacation?

    How about Chatanooga?
If you are sick of the Bahamas, then you are probably tired of the Beach in general.
It looks like Tennessee is not too bad of a drive and it is touristy enough to keep the kids occupied.

Myrtle Beach has lots of fun stuff for the kids and plenty of beach for adults.

Thank you for the suggestions. We usually go in July. We went early this year (in May) and want to change back to July for next year. I'm looking into Gatlinburg, TN or Myrtle Beach, but welcome all ideas.

Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge is nice, but not as much to do as in Branson for the same type of vacation.
