I am planning on starting the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred on Sunday (June 10th). I've been starting and stopping it for a couple weeks now but I need to lose this weight. I am thinking of doing the body revolution right after the 30 day shred.
Anyone want to join with me?

Me too, I am going to start tonight. I workout in the mornings doing only cardio so I hope this will help with strength and help me lose inches:)0
-
Good luck to the both of you!!! I have been doing 30DS for a week and it feels amazing!!!0
-
il start it sun as well we could do it together and see how much we all manage to loose each week0
-
I'm on day 3! Whoo you feel the burn~0

I have bad knees (thanks, Dad) and I sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies through the whole workout, but I've been very careful to sink my butt back and down (rather than bending my knee forward) during the lunges, and I haven't had any knee pain so far. Plus, focusing my attention on good form helps keep me from focusing on how much my thigh muscles are burning.0

good luck! I am just finishing up with it and moving on to p90x - but I wanted to encourage you and say that I've done Shred before, but only stuck with it maybe 2 weeks at a time before quitting, and now, having done it almost a month, I can really see a difference with my fitness level. I have been bouncing back and forth from level 2 and 3 and while I can't do all the advanced stuff- the things I try are more effortless now. I actually look forward to exercising now, being fit really feels good. I've lost 8 lbs but I think a big part of that has been counting my calories along with Shred. Good luck!0

For those who are starting on Sunday with me, we should check in on Wednesdays(midweek) and do a weight/tape check on Saturday (end of the week).

I felt OK after day 1- it was waking up on day 2 when I realized how sore I was0 -
A friend of mine is letting me borrow it tomorrow!! Super excited!!0

I'll always start it, but don't do anymore than three days. I've been on the ball lately with making sure I exercise daily so I will probably start it again.0
-
I will join you but I'm gonna start tomorrow0

It was intense. I thought i was a little more in shape than what it proved to me that I was. I;m not exactly looking forward to tomorrow, but I am still willing to stick it out.0
-
starting it today. :happy:0

I'm starting today. I did 28 of the 31 days in January and lost 10 lbs.0

I am starting my second week of it (sort-of) I didn't do it every day. I alternated between it and walking (60-90 min at 3.5+ MPH) on the other days. I had to give my muscles time to stop hurting.
I am hoping this week to be able to do it each day. If my muscles cooperate.0 -
I did level 1 this morning. I hadn't really thought of really keeping on through the 30 days and was just going to do it here and there..but I need a new challenge. Why not0

Just finished L1 Day2 of the 30day shred, and my body is hurtin!! Day one was pretty tough, and then waking up to do day 2 was hard because i was so sore. I am only using 5lbs weights and its a workout. I can't wait to see results after a week or so.
Keep it up ladies!!!!:happy:0 -
Mine still in plastic wrap! I've heard great things about it and will start with you!0

My husband and I just started today and we just finished day 1 level 1......we are SORE!!!! I had a shower afterwards and my legs were burning when I came downstairs. We're going to stick it out - 30 days is not that long in the big scheme of things. We CAN all do this!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone's results. We'll definitely join you.
Question - how is everyone recording this on the exercise log?0 -
I started Level 1 Day 1 today as well. It kicked my butt this morning and then I walked 4.5 miles tonight. I'm a hurtin' unit ALREADY. Not looking forward to getting up in the morning, but I'll push through again tomorrow. I have to do SOMETHING to lose this weight! Count me in! How do we keep track?0

I am recording it as 20 min of circuit training.0
