    If they are trying to sell you something, report them. Just like the cheese seller yesterday! If you just let it go, more and more people think they can use MFP to sell something. Then every time you turn around you are being hit up. I hate it when that happens.

    hahaha wow this thread has got out of hand and its awesome!! Cleansing your butt with broccoli, I am calling this new type butt broccoli. I wouldn't buy anything from then especially if you do not know them.

    On my profile it says I can't have soy, but someone on my friendlist tried to sell me Body By Vi, which is full of soy. She said "But it's non GMO soy" IT'S EFFING SOY, I'M VERY INTOLERANT TO SOY!

    had one from my area add me, couple weeks later kept sending me messages about a body by vi shake party. deleted her shortly after. definitely wasn't there to support me, just sell me garbage. i don't spend much money on weight loss stuff anymore. i just eat healthy, and exercise. i'm on a tight budget, so i don't buy many of the "extras"

    Why is it that half the people I friend are trying to push shakeokogy or advocare cleanse on me? Why do so many people feel the need for this to be their Place to pimp their new products?

    Seriously I can make a natrual protein shake for cheap!

    i wouldn't consider body by vi garbage.. i personally have a shake here and there.. (i don't sell it, i actually purchase it for cheaper and i don't join the bandwagon, that's just me though).. it's still pretty good for you, it has great nutrients in it if you like shakes once in a while like myself.. it's not a weight loss miracle shake.. just a little extra nutrients.. plus a lot of people say shakes are expensive.. well if you think about it.. you could buy groceries out the ying yang or have a shake once in a while instead.. AGAIN.. i don't sell it, but i wouldn't consider it garbage.. just my 2 cents.. shakes aren't for everyone, but i do agree, i wouldn't push selling anything on anyone..

    Lol I buy my little $10 dvds from Target and make my own shakes at home. Of course I would be skinny if I spent all my money on the infomercial dvds and shakes because I wouldnt be able to afford any other food after that. :grumble:

    Lol, I guess when they read my posts and how I don't care for shakeology or practically any other "health" product, they don't bother to spam me. Not to mention I may end up knowing more about their product then they actually do.

    What is weird for me is that no one on MFP tries to sell me this stuff. But I have multiple people on facebook who do. :laugh: You would think THIS would be the place where people would try to sell it, not with facebook.

    Luckily I haven't encounter anyone here in MFP who is promoting those bogus fads. But if they were, they can't fool me. I'm a Marketing Specialist & I have enough experience in creating tactics to sell an item & so I can sense something behind a product. I've been on this field for 10 years.
