Well now I know what to make for supper when my mother-in-law comes to visit.

Now, was she allergic to coriander or capers? Oh well, better throw both in, just to be safe.

That's redonkulous. You'll destroy the structural integrity of the jelly. The protein in the chicken sludge turns into long strings when whipped in the blender, and holds the entire object in a gravity defying upright position.

You just can't do that with tofu.

I'd rather eat cat poo than this

You, apparently, have never actually eaten can poo...

...because if you had, you would not have made a statement like this.

Yeah, dried dates, my @$$...not going to fall for that one...again...

Rad, if you ever write a cookbook, will you autograph my copy? I may never make a single recipe, but I'll lose weight laughing at your instructions. :P

I would eat it if it wasn't blended and looked like baby food.

In Germany (and I bet other countries as well) we have something similar. Chunks of meat, pickles, onions, sometimes eggs in a salty gelatin. That doesn't taste too bad!

Actually, this reminds me of an appetizer my mother used to make. It was made with a can of corned beef, mayo, chopped green pepper, chopped hard boiled egg, and lemon jello. There may have been a couple of more things in it. Anyway, it looked gross when you made it, but after you poured it in the mold and let it set, it was fine. It tasted fantastic served on crackers.

I think it needs something with a little crunch added to it - maybe some nuts for texture?
