Bacon Sundae

Just heard on the radio about Burger King (I think) that is serving a special Bacon Sundae. Soft serve ice cream, hot fudge, bacon bits and a slice of bacon on top.

WHo is going to try it?

    Good Times has had a Bacon Sundae or something similar for awhile. I tried one months ago, and thought it was good.

    I thought Denny's did something like that about a year ago. Basic sundae with maple instead of hot fudge and bacon crumbled up in and on top of it.

    I love bacon and I like ice cream, but I don't see the two mixing that well.

    I'm pretty sure there is no way that I would not eat bacon. Candied bacon. Yes. Chocolate bacon. Absolutely. Bacon sundae? Yep, just not from Burger King.

    I'm a BK manager... I've tried it... Just so you know it's fudge, caramel and bacon...

    and it's Meh... Just okay. I took a bite of it but I wouldn't eat a whole sundae let alone pay for it.

    Now the new strawberry frozen lemonade, sweet potato fries and pulled pork sandwiches, I'm all over those!

    I am going to avoid it only because I am watching what I eat. It sounds good.. I love bacon. Although if I were to splurge and eat something like this I too would like a bit of a higher quality dessert then BK's version.

    Chocolate and bacon are delicious together. Not sure if I would like it with ice cream though. I would pretty much eat bacon with anything as it's my favorite food and has been all my life so I'm loving this bacon with everything fad. Now I feel more like a normal person instead of some freak who thinks bacon should be mixed with just about anything :bigsmile:
