I've done the 30 day shred, I had some nice results even though I did the easy version of the pushups. Gradually you will gain muscle in your arms that allow you to get better at pushups. You have to use the muscles that are weak in order to build them up. Same with crunches, as you do the exercises it becomes easier. And even if you don't do the exercises exactly right there are plenty of other exercises on the 30 day shred that allow you to burn calories and see results.

I have not done p90x but there have been several success stories on the site from people who have.

    Good luck.

I just completed day #10 of the 30-day shred part 1...I never could do a push up right, I'd try a couple & it was hard...however, when I started the 30-day shred I told myself I would make myself try as hard as I can...here I am 10 days into it & I can do them great (albeit the modified version with my knees down), but I'm still super proud....they are tough, & so are the crunches, but if you try and push yourself just a bit every day you'll find them becoming easier to do (if I can do them, I know you can too) :)
