Tracking Calories Burned

I've been dieting a few months now and to date when tracking calories burned I've only tracked those in which I've gone out of my way to exercise.

For example, I'll track calories burned if I go for a walk, or ride on the bike, or go out for my weekly archery shooting. But I won't generally track calories burned for things like grocery shopping or other general activities that I would be doing anyway.

Should I be tracking calories burned for simple things like shopping and doing errands as well?

Every person is different, I will track my calories burnt for things such as walking to the shop( if it is a far distance away) or walking to collect my children from school but I don't track things such as cleaning my home etc.

I set my settings to 'sedentry' and add almost everything back (excluding general wondering around the house etc.) found that works for me!

Yep I am the same! I only track actual workouts. If I am burning more calories just by going about my day then brilliant! But I dont log them. (And I have a HRM for my workouts so that I know how many calories I have burned during them)
