My life is an epic quest!!

well, sort of... i'm working on it!!

I'm a nerd and gamer, and love leveling up my life. i've always thought of making good, clear cut goals, but i finally decided to write them down and to really start working on them. there is no date that they have to be completed by, and i will be consistently striving to perfect myself

My Epic Quest

I am currently: Level 1 (80% to Level 2)
Level 1
Do a handstand push up (Completed Spring 2012)
10 pull ups in a row (Completed 3/12/2012)
Model for an artist (Completed 2/4/12)
Race in New York (Completed 11/19/11)

Bodyweight goals

50 push-ups in a row
10 pull ups in a row ✔
Do a handstand push up ✔
Do 10 handstand push-ups against a wall
Do 10 freestanding handstand pushups
Do a muscle up
Do 5 muscle ups in a row

Weight training goals

Bench press 220lbs ten times
Press 165lbs overhead ten times
Deadlift 330lbs ten times
Squat 220lbs ten times
Do 10 pull ups with 45lbs hanging on me
Do 300 kettle bell work out under 30 minutes

Race Goals

Run a 5k in under 24 minutes.
Complete a triathlon
Complete a triathlon in all distances (sprint/Olympic/half/IM)
Complete a mountain biking race
Complete an Xterra triathlon
Complete Tough Mudder
Complete an open water swim race
Do all three Spartan Race distances in one year.

Start my own business

Superhero Goals

Learn and become proficient at bouldering
Learn and become proficient at parkour
Create and keep a 'when the **** hits the fan' bag ready
Become conversational in a third language (currently conversational in English and Spanish)
Helicopter drop on to a mountain with my snowboard
Sky Dive
Pass a civilian firearms training course

Master Quests
These are all worth 100% experience or more due to their complexity or difficulty
Complete Grad School
Complete Ironman Kona
Drive cross-country
Complete the Way of St. James

    I've done the French Route for Way of St. James. On a bicycle!

    AWESOME LIST.

    Oh, I'd add heli-boarding in Alaska to 100% experience list. One of my exes used to do this every year. I don't snowboard but I used to fly out with them and pick them back up at the foot of the canyon. It's incredible.

    I too am a gamer, i love this idea! playing on your passion and other interests to help your fitness goals.

    I remember being jealous of my character in Skyrim, it had actually inspired me to out on more nature walks, and want to improve my strength. (not for sword fighting or dragon slaying, well maybe a little..) :tongue:

    thanks guys, it was fun making the list, and thinking about my goals, and how i'd accomplish them.
