I SAVED MY LIFE! 112 pounds lost & Heart Attack Avoided

The BEST victory ever. Sure, losing 112 pounds in a year was life changing but I was digging myself an early grave with my previous lifestyle. As I became increasingly active, and began intense cardio exercise, I began to have these weird "extra" heart beats called PVC's. Typically, they are benign but I was having an extreme amount of them. I saw a cardiologist and went through some tests. Turns out, I have a 30% narrowing in one of my major arteries. BUT, with my weight loss, fitness level, diet and lipid levels, I have saved my life. I now have a total cholesterol of 147. HDL of 84, Triglycerides of 38, and normal blood pressure. Turns out the medication I was given to help with those extra beats, along with my new lifestyle, will disolve the narrowing. My cardiologist today referred to me as "the cream of the crop" of his patients. If I hadn't snapped out of it 18 months ago I would have silently gone on clogging my arteries until I had a heart attack.

So keep fighting the good fight. It's more than how you look on the outside. You will add years and quality to your life.
