Hello =) my name is Joanne from England and I thought I would tell you a bit about myself...

I have always had weight problems since I was 14 years old. Two years ago I looked at myself and hated what I saw. I was 33 stone. I new I had to do something about this for myself and my children Natasha my young daughter is deaf and Autistic. I started cutting out rice pasta and potatoes and lost a lot of weight. I'm now sitting at 22 stone 8lbs. I'm at slimming world but I can't do there green days since I don't eat a lot of carbs. I'm also T2 Diabetes.

My first goal is to get to 20 stone. But my main Goal over all is to get to 14 stone then get to were I need to be and were I'm happy at.

    My name is Nicola, I'm 36 and I live in Lanzarote, we moved
    here (from Britain) 'cause we only get about 6 days of rain a year.

    I love being outside but want the body to take advantage of it.

    I hate running but I do love going to the gym but I'm forcing
    myself to have a go at the C25K programme and it's not horrible
    so far.

    I'm 28lbs lost with a goal of 68. I'm LOVING MFP.

    Hi Nicola

    I'm leaving England next year to be in Denmark with my guy, He's from Denmark and were moving there. I'm looking forward to it very much. I'm like you I love being out doors more so now Ive lost weight and no I'm not going to get the funny looks.

    Can i ask what's the C25K program.

    Hi Joanne,
    C25K is a running programme called 'Couch to 5K'.
    The aim is to take someone from being a couch potato
    to being able to run for 30mins straight (or 5K).
    I got the programme from www.coolrunning.com
    It's hard when you start the new week but I'm surprised
    that already I can run for 5mins without stopping...
    Worth a try if fancy it

    I will look into that. Only running have done is on a tredmil lol
