Well, I didn't see *that* coming...

A gentleman I knew a long time ago, who I had a very short-lived, ill-thought out, and quickly-ended fling with, has been telling everyone, for years.... that I was his long-term girlfriend... The great love of his life, who tore his heart out.

Everyone... but me.

*blinks*

Furthermore, his actual girlfriend a few years ago, became so intimidated by the thought of our "relationship" that she stole my best friend's phone number off his phone to grill her about me.

Anyone else have a crazy story to top this one and make me feel less... creeped out?

When I first started going out with my bf I got a message on facebook from his ex saying loads of crap about him and how he played girls off against each other.
I also received a phone call from a sort of friend (more of an acquaintance who had a tendency to lie and over exaggerate really badly) who worked at the same place as him saying I deserved better.
We've been together 2 and a half years now and never been happier.
It just shows from another perspective you shouldn't believe what people say, particularly exes or dramatic 'friends'. It's crazy what utter nonesense people can come out with!!

I could probably tell a story to make your hair stand on end but it's going to the grave with me. Anyhow, it seems he might be a little confused! Hope his gf now doesn't decided to dig into your life more, that IS way creepy.... good luck

I dated a guy who had just gotten a new assignment: undercover narcotics. Anyway, one day I was on the way to work and he told me he was in another city sitting on a house. He wasn't. He was around the corner from my work, watching me.

My husband's ex gf were going around telling people her son is his (she was cheating with her ex bf when she was with my husband). Our sister-in-law believes his ex over her husband's brother. Our sister-in-law tried breaking us up before I married him that I actually broke up with him for a short time til we talked about stuff. I emailed the ex and said if her son is my husband's he deserves to see his "son". She wrote back that she likes things the way they are. She is married to that ex boyfriend she cheated with. My husband is the only guy I have been with so no drama on my part.

Oh wow. Hands down, you win. That is very unnerving.
