Outback Steakhouse help!

I am going to outback steakhouse tomorrow for a fathers day lunch/dinner thing.
I would really prefer to eat less than 550 calories there.
Does anyone know what my options are or could tell me what THEY usually order?
If you answer this i will love you forever. I am in recovery for an ED and this is making me anxious because i need to conquer eating at sit down restaurants while also not going crazy.

Just Google Outback nutrition and you'll find what you are looking for.0

Being a vegan I wouldn't eat there But, some folks here at MFP have done the work for you.

I eat the small steak dinner with a baked potato, no salad because that increases the calories0

I usually eat half of the 6 oz. steak and steamed broccoli.0

Outback is one of the easier places to eat well!
Yes:
Lobster tails.
Chicken on the barbie (no BBQ sauce)
The smallest sirloin.
Asparagus is a good low cal side.
No:
Skip the bread.
Careful with the salad dressing.
Forget the bloomin' onion.
And no beer. :drinker:0 -
They actually have some great choices. I had the 6 ounce sirloin, grilled asparagus and a salad (I didn't have the lightest dressing) and it was a very reasonable meal. They do list all of the nutrition info on their site, and even allow you to build a meal, and it shows you what the cals for the whole meal would be. I find it to be a pretty stress free place to eat because you can eat "normal" and it's good.

You can omit the cheese from the salad to save more calories, or get their sundried tomato dressing, which is much lower calorie. Obviously the bread and butter is optional. I believe you could really easily get under 550, just by omitting the bread and butter and getting the lowest calorie salad option.0
