Try some Baked Kale chips:

You can also skip the cheese for less calories!0 -
Craving fatty snacks means you really need CALCIUM- instead, eat: mustard, turnip greens, broccoli, kale, legumes, cheese, sesame

I made myself a baseless 'pizza' with some cheese and it sorted me right out - even didn't want anymore!0 -
Sugar free jello! or pudding. A heating pad. Plenty of tea And a few Advil or Tylenol. Hang in there, girl, don't let Auntie Flow have her way with your diet, lol:flowerforyou:0

I am just about to get one, and I found myself just starving like crazy0

getting my period today and what normally fills me up in the mornings didn't today. I ate my lunch at 1045. So i have no meals or snack from now until after 530. I feel like my hunger can't be satisfied today. Weirdly its not my usual chocolate craving. just a general i am hungry feeling. Hope it goes away and i can get through 6 hours of nothing in the tummy.0

I had mine last week...ugh! My hubby would bring me home a 3 musketeer candy bar which helped. He's a junk food junk that has chips and cookies in the pantry but I was good and didn't touch them!!!!!0

I crave Sugar, sugar, sugar in the few days before. I have just started this and have yet to encounter the dreaded visit. I have no idea what I am going to do when it starts. Any ideas would be a great help here.:explode:0

Give up. You cannot defeat...
YES!!!!! Eat it once. But get a turkey burger, or veggie burger. Order a kids meal, etc. you can do this!!0 -
I am also about to come on and for the past 4 days I have been constantly STARVING... I just tried to eat healthy filling stuff and exercise and when my cravings reach their peak...for me at night, I just go to sleep and wait for another day to start. One day at a time, just don't give in TODAY!!!! ;-)0

Thanks for the advice.
I've actually started taking Calcium supplement (1200mg per day) against PMS a few weeks ago. Not at the cravings-state yet, but it definitely improved my irritability - I don't break out in tears for no reason anymore! It is a huge improvement.0 -
I'm dying to eat...anything, my lower back is killing me, the period is round the corner! How the hell am I supposed to stay on track when my womb is controlling my body!!
Sage and Ginger are my best friends around that time. They help to control my cramps and "blah" mood.0 -
It's one, maybe one and a half days out of the month .. decide the one thing that will make you feel the very best and have it. There is no reason to put yourself through torture for the sake of a 'diet'. One cheeseburger, even one day of cheeseburgers and fries will not ruin an entire month's worth of work.
THIS. That one really bad day of the month is a freebie. If I behave myself the rest of the month, I have had no problem eating things like pizza and ice cream and chocolate when the horrible cravings hit. It didn't harm my weight loss. The trick is to get it out of my system on that day and go back to normal eating the next day, instead of agonizing over the cravings.0 -
That sounds really nice. Will have to try that one:)0
