caloric deficit (exercise and food) question

So, I have reduced my overall caloric with foods by 500 a day, so 3500/week, which leads to a (in theory) 1 pound loss each week.
With exercise I am averaging about 1500 calories burned in a week. Am I right in thinking that if I bump my exercise calories burned up to 3500 a week also, then I can lose 2 pounds per week ( in theory)?
This may seem like a basic question, but I am new to this.
thanks for any help!

Yes I think you're right (in theory  ), but change your goals on here to check your calculation!0
