    Here's my favorite recipe for home made hummus!

    2 cups garbanzo beans, drained
    1/3 cup tahini
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    1 pinch of paprika
    2 pinches crushed red pepper
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 cloves garlic, halved
    1 tablespoon of the liquid from canned roasted red peppers (instead of olive oil-- adds some flavor)

    I do something similar but I don't use Tahini paste because I got tired of going from store to store to find it :-/ So I just use olives in the food processor.
