How often do you weigh yourself?

I was wondering how often everyone weighs themselves? I know some people that do it everyday and some that do it once a month. I tend to lose motivation if I don't weigh myself everyday.

I weigh myself everyday or every other day. Keeps me accountable. If I see the number going up I know I need to kick my butt in gear and exercise and eat better. If Its going down I know I need to keep doing what I'm doing. But thats just how it works with me!0

I weigh every morning and hate it when i can't. The fluctuations keep me on track and I find that I get a little lost without the daily accountability.0

EVERY day!! usually when i first get up, before eating or drinking anything ;o0

I weigh myself every Friday morning and post a progress photo on my Facebook weight loss album and measure myself the last Friday of the month. :P0

The scale and I are not friends. Seems like no matter what it says (and I'm not kidding, it could even be an awesome #), I feel like it isn't enough and it just upsets me. I stay off of it as much as possible now.
I am going to continue to modify my behavior no matter what the scale says, no matter how slow or quick I lose weight, no matter what. Short term behavior changes will not allow me to keep the weight off.
I prefer to measure my success by means other than the scale as well. Measurements and endurance are huge indicators of how well I'm doing.0 -
I weigh every day to stay accountable but only track on fridays and monday.0

I avoid the scales at all cost. About the only time I weigh is when I have to, like at the Dr.'s office.0
-
Several times a week.0

Every day now that I'm at the point where I don't freak out about normal weight fluctuations. It took me a while to get there I must admit!0
-
Every day, however with strength training I am training myself not to do that because it is not an accurate representation of my progress and just frustrates me.0

Weekly. Usually on Mondays. Keeps me accountable over the weekend.0

Once a month0

I count my weigh in on Sunday as soon as I wake up as my "official" weight, but I jump on the scale almost every day just to see how things are going...0

Daily. I used to log only 1x per week, but I find it more motivating to log daily also. But, because I know it fluctuates, I didn't want everyone to congratulate me every time I had a tiny loss, so I turned off the alerts that tell everyone when I've lost weight since my last weigh in.0

Weekly, roughly, either Monday or Tuesday.0

Every morning. If it stays the same for a week i'll change it in mfp.0

Once a week, unless it's tom, then I skip a week and a half.
Measurements no more then every 2weeks.0 -
I weigh everyday, keeps me accountable) but only record changes (UP or DOWN)..0

Every day as soon as I wake up. I don't count when it goes up a little, I just track it when it goes down. But it lets me know if I need to eat lighter or get some more exercise.0

I weigh every morning. I believe it keeps me going also helps me know if I should eat a smaller meal. or if I am doing great then I can have a little extra treat.0

Having a measuring plan is great! I need to start that.
I weigh every day, but have a program that automatically tells me how much I'm down from the week before. I also weigh pretty much as soon as I wake up, before I get in the shower.
I know a lot of people are firmly against daily weigh-ins, so here's my rationalization for those who are wondering. I recognize that daily variation happens. Bloating from salt, alcohol, and hormones can make me gain four pounds overnight. So if I weigh on June 1 and come in at 200, lose two pounds over the following week, then get bloated overnight, and weigh in June 8 at 202, I get *completely* bummed out. I recognize my emotional eating tendencies, and this would send me on a binge. Especially if I had been really good for that whole week. Whereas if I weigh in June 1 at 200, June 2 at 199.3, June 3 at 199.8, June 4 at 198.7, June 5 at 198.3, June 6 at 198.5, June 7 at 198, and June 8 at 202... That doesn't bother me. I know that I didn't eat 14,000 extra calories on June 7 and I can usually pinpoint a cause (ie party with friends, special occasion dinner with lots of junk, period starting) so it doesn't bother me that technically I'm up two pounds from the week before. I know it'll be gone again in a few days.0 -
Once a month... anything more than that and I would start to obsess about every little pound I gain or lose...0
-
Once a week... Thursday mornings at my Weight Watcher Meetings.
But I do occasionally take a peek at our home scale on Monday. I try not to do that though, because once I step on and see the number I start to obsess about it...0 -
I have no set schedule. When I wake up, walk past the scale and say "Hmmm. I wonder..." That's when I weigh myself.
I used to weigh every day, but then I stopped worrying about weight and started concentrating more on health and fitness and feel sooo much better about everything!0 -
every other wednesday... right after i pee in the morning0

Once a week. Usually Friday morning.0

I weigh once a week, Friday morning after going to the bathroom and before getting dressed. It's very rare, but if Friday says I gained and I know I struggled Wednesday and/or Thursday, I'll take it easier on the weekend and make my official Monday morning. Then it restarts to Friday. This works for me! This past spring semester, I weighed myself every morning. The numbers drove me crazy!! So I hid my scale in my closet and only brought it out Friday morning. Made it sooo much easier0

No more than once a week, sometimes every two weeks. I found my weight can go up and down as much as a 3-4 lbs through out the week depending how intense my workouts are. So I always use Monday as my weigh in morning IF I weigh in at all.0
