Does 180 calories for 10 small almonds sound right to you? Seems a little high.

Yet according to myfitness pal, 1 dry roasted almond is just 7 calories.

How many calories in 1 almond? I'm not sure. When I feel like some nuts I'll go buy just a dozen at a time otherwise i end up eating more than that if I buy a packet. It would be nice to know the amount of calories in them so I can track accurately. Hope someone can help!

Most packages I've read say 28 almonds are about 170 calories

1oz almonds is about 22 almonds... that's about 170 calories. Depends on the size of the almonds; use a food scale if you can.

Roughly, 24 whole almonds are 163 calories; 14g fat; 6g carbs; 3.5g fiber; 1g sugar; and 6g protein. It can vary if almonds are silvered, sliced, ground, etc. in which they are generally measured in cups. So, yes, each whole almond is 7 calories.

Good idea too about the food scale, thanks. ill weight next time.

According to myfitness pal 1 gram of Kirkland almonds are 6 calories. So I guess that means 1 gram = approx 1 almond.

    :)
