    God I put it on everything. Crispbreads, rice cakes and melba toast are low carb...well lower than a piece of bread or a crumpet lol, I will have that when I'm low on carbs.

    and have it with fruit, Banana with peanut butter is magical, as is apple and peanut butter!

    I've had peanut butter on celery since I was a kid. I love the combination and it's virtually no extra calories!

    I have a plain peanut butter sandwich, put it on toast, eat it by itself off of a spoon, eat it with some dark chocolate, put it in smoothies, on a banana, on an apple, with some honey on bread ...

    I could go on. Peanut butter makes everything better.

    I love peanut butter on bananas. But usually I eat it right out of the jar.

    Why is your nutritionist asking you to eat more of it? If you don't like it, there are other foods that will help you meet whatever nutritional requirement you're looking for. It's not like it's magical. :smile:

    I agree with the banana and wheat toast. I was hiking the Appalachian Tral a few years ago and we were burning 5000-6000 calories a day. Several of us were losing weight so fast that we start packing chocolate cake icing and peanut butter with us. We would stop on our breaks, fill one side of the spoon with cake icing and the other half with peanut butter. Oh how I miss those days.

    my latest addiction is peanut butter cookies from the Humminbird bakery cook book. mmmmmm.

    Sorry you can't eat bananas, and this isn't very useful but my fave combos (other than pb&banana) (usually on bread!) are:

    pb & honey
    pb & jam (= jelly in yank land)
    pb & marmite
    pb & marmalade - something gorgeous about that slightly sharp citrus tang
    and when I was a kid, pb& tinned crushed pineapple in sandwiches

    celery stick with pb and raisins....sounds discusting but I love it and I dont even like celery.
