Don't forget to add apostrophes for no apparent reason: "I really love my dog's."

Being in and around many forums, there is a vast difference between ESOL posters and people that just plain suck at their first language. With enough practice one can tell the difference.

-Or how about using punctuation? I'm not much of a grammar freak, but I can NOT stand run-on sentences. I get so bored. And annoyed. It's a period. One little dot. Easy. As. This..........................................

    1. use 'your' instead of 'you're' over and over

    2. use 'bring' when you mean 'take'

    3. say things like "me and him" instead of "he and I"

    4. put 3, 4, 5, or 6 question marks or exclamation points at the end of a sentence.

    5. leave out all apostrophes Im (I'm), wont (won't), cant (can't), etc.

    6. say lol all the time like it is a real word.

    LET THE FLAMES BEGIN

    7. Not capitalizing the first letter of a sentence, nor making complete sentences.

    Avoid Alliteration. Always.
Avoid cliches like the plague. (They’re old hat.)
Don't use commas, that, are not, necessary.
Go around the barn at high noon to avoid colloquialisms.
Place pronouns as close as possible, especially in long sentences, as of 10 or more words, to their antecedents.

Not capitalizing the beginning of each sentence.

This was my first thought before I even clicked the thread.
