Hello everyone!
I'm in desperate need of some low cal lunchbox ideas, ideally about 300-400 cal along with as many 100 cal snacks as you can think of!
All suggestions are welcome, thank you in advance

Are you in the UK? Marks has some lovely salads, the nutty grain and veg is delicious and really filling. They're a bit pricy, but they normally have 2 for EUR4.25 here, i'm not sure about the UK. You could try a few and then make your own version?
Or try making soups with lentils? Again, really filling and you can play around with spices and flavours,or add some chicken for protein.
I love making salads with quinoa or lentils or mixed beans, and trying different dressings
Snack a jacks are great, as is popcorn. Or a hardboiled egg.0 -
Hi I take salads to work and normally buy asda smart price prawns and do a big sald and that normally comes to 250 or less calories. I also buy the microwave packs of chilli and chicken casserole with less than 200 calories a pack. Snacks i like alpen light bars 70 cals. I also like kitkat as only 107. I also get options hot chocolate as only 40 cals and good for the chocolate cravings. I have snack a jacks as well. Hope this helps.0

I usually just have a sandwich for lunch with some kind of low-fat or low-sodium meat and a slice of cheese and that usually fills me up.
I typically snack once between breakfast and lunch and once between lunch and dinner. A lot of times this will include a piece of fruit like a banana, clementines, an apple, etc., or a thing of yogurt.
Sometimes I will also bring in some cut up veggies to munch on like celery, cucumbers, green peppers, etc. There are a TON of low-cal options for you to snack on.0 -
I keep my lunches around 3-400 calories by making bento style lunches, with an emphasis on lots of colorful vegetables. Bento is a kind of hobby for a lot of people, all about making creative and fun lunches, but it is also great for portion control. There are a lot of great blogs out there, but here are some of my favorites:

As for snacks, I usually make myself a cup of plain herbal tea (no calories) and I also have a handful of grapes/strawberries or a lite string cheese.0 -
