Dumbest series ever and so poorly written the author should be ashamed...except that she's too busy cashing that fat paycheck.

I'd rather watch porn. Shakespeare is rolling in his grave and Marquis de Sade is scoffing at this amateur...

Let's not forget Pauline Reage....she's probably rolling in her grave too.

I loved the books... to each his own i guess. No vampires in book... someone posted it had to do with vampires. I guess biting could have been part of their games but i cant remember. Yes it seemed to repeat some but how many ways can u describe what they did. But the books were also about him being messed up as a child and working through his problems. Again... I loved them.

    Agreed!

I liked it for what it was. Try Colter's Woman by Maya Banks. (It's a series too) I found that one to be a little bit more to my liking!

I read the first one and was so disappointed! I have to say though that whoever she had a her marketing agent did a FABULOUS job and when I get published I would love to hire them. As bad it was I do have to give her kudos for the marketing. The book got so much hype it was ridiculous! I did not care for the book. IMO it's geared more towards under-sexed housewives. I found the sex to be boring and far from the "hot and steamy" that I was led to believe (seriously, I flipped through the book looking for the "hot sex scenes" and after reading them I was like "Really? Seriously? That's supposed to be hot? YAWN"). The BDSM portion of it was weak at best. I was expecting a lot more bondage. She was trussed up once and spanked a few times. Oooo.

If this becomes a movie it won't be rated X and from what I heard they're going to condense all three books into one movie. I think it'll be as lame as the books.

Ironically, I had never heard of the books until the hype started in the forums here. Ya'll should be given some royalties for promoting the books....even though I'd heard the books were terrible, I had to read them just to see WHY and HOW they were so terrible. ha!

The vampire part came from the fact that it was a book written on the Fanfic website and is based off of the Twilight series using those characters. The author changed the names when it started getting popular on the site and she published.

Probably one of the last people left who hasn't read the books....:ohwell:
Those books are based off of Twilight?? That is f'n hilarious!
