Went to get milk from the fridge at work for my protein shake and there was cake in there. That was a close one.

    cake is hard... but today they had donuts and i was able to pass, we also have a guy who always brings chocolate for the whole office.... thats a constent struggle!

    See I came up with a knack of when i see that stuff I convert it in my head the calories. So instead of seeing CAKE I see 365 calories and 30 mins of hard elliptical work! That usually steers me right away.

    Cake isn't hard. Because my room mates had cake in the fridge for a week . And I just looked at and said Hell No. I just sub with something healthy now. Good job for not giving in . Peace :smile:

    I thought my job was the only one with a designated cakeday LOL! I sat across from a Carvel Ice Cream cake this afternoon...I'm proud to say I won the staredown.

    Ugh those damn fridge cakes. They come in out of the hot weather you know. You can get a powder at Home Depot to get rid of them.

    I'm lucky as I am not a big cake person... premade ones always have frosting on them.. and I HATE donuts, just smelling them makes me want to hurl.

    But the owners of my company are EVIL... EVIL I tell ya... they bring in Great Harvest Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies ALL the time... even half of one of those kills me.

    And my dept recently had a ice cream social event... luckily they asked for recommendations ahead of time and they know how hard I am working on my weight and they got some lower calorie options and I was able to have a little of those... with even less of the super bad ones.
