    I wanted to be an astronaut (for me) or maybe an artist (to make my mom proud).

    Now I'm a database manager who still reads a lot of science fiction. Mostly I've given up painting, though.

    I love office supplies too.

    I always wanted to have one of those nice Day Planner things, but now that I have the kind of job where I'd really need one, I have a smart phone instead.

    A mermaid, an astronaut, a lawyer, an artist, a marine biologist, and now... I'd love to be an artist still, or a writer. I make art, and I write, but I am neither of those things.

    I'm a stay at home mom. Very happy with that for now. :bigsmile:

    Now? A secretary (NOT like in the Doris Day movies!) Actually, I'm more of an accountant......I work with grant programs and budgets and financial stuff.

    Let's see... I wanted to be a vet, then at 8 I wwanted to be a poacher-hunter (cuz why heal animals when you can just take out the people killing them in the first place! ....ya, I was a weird kid), then an archaeologist, in highschool an architect.

    now i'm in an undergrad for Landscape Architecture, time to build some cities!

    I used to love office supplies and still do! Post its are my favorites- I have them in all sizes, colors, shapes, etc.

    I wanted to go into forensics or be a record producer......now I work from home as a medical transcriptionist :)

    Everyone tells me I need to write, my boyfriend is the biggest "pusher" of it. I always lose my motivation to do so though. :/

    The trick is to not tell them about it. best way to avoid pushers.

    At high school I wanted to be a vet until I realised I would be a sobbing mess everytime I had to put an animal to sleep

    Now - RN working towards my Masters degree, aiming to be a clinical nurse specialist

    Then: I wanted to work 60+ hours a week for a global company in a major city. I wanted there to be travel, fancy dinners, expensive watches, and meetings galore. I wanted there to be crises to manage, decisions made impacting the life of the business...Career woman all the way.

    Now: I work in Marketing for McDonald's.

    Then: A detective, forensic pathologist or Batman

    Now: I work for my family business as a housekeeper / property manager. I didn't do well enough at school for the first 2 but if I ever inherit a fortune I like to think Batman is still an option.
