I am looking for some yummy, healthy snack ideas. I am trying to up my calorie intake & I am getting bored of the same ol' stuff everyday! I am looking for some variety :) I am not a picky eater by no means, but I am a busy mom & would prefer things that are fairly quick & simple. Thanks!!

Sounds a little crazy but I made low-cal cupcakes. Mix a box of devil's food cake mix with a 15oz can of pumpkin (I used Libby's) and a scoop of chocolate protein powder. The result 138 calorie cupcakes. I usually add that with a serving of Breyer's 1/2 fat vanilla ice cream. It makes a great evening snack. There are TONS of low-cal recipes on hungrygirl.com. I have found so many great snacks and meals and haven't had a single bad recipe yet.

I often get 1/2 pint packs of berries (raspberries/blueberries, or especially blackberries) when they are on sale at the grocery store. Very refreshing and really low-cal. Or mini-carrots, those really fill you up as well. 1 cup of plain cheerios is only 100 calories. It's a bit dull, but they last you a while!

I love the 100 calorie Sandwich Thins. The possibilities are endless. I use a bit of Garlic Herb Mayo and a Tomato. Or spray butter, mozzarella and garlic powder open faced in the toaster oven.
My husband loves the Bagel Thins and he makes turkey sandwiches all of the time using them. I put a piece of cheese on it and pop it in the microwave. If you eat meat, you could add a piece of turkey sausage to it.

celery with peanut butter or apple slices with peanut butter.

If you don't have a ton of room for the calories of nut butter, you can always swap it with light tuna in water. The entire can is only 100 calories, and it is delicious stuffed into celery (I mix it with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, S&P first, but any way you swing it is good)
