I'm not as tall as I thought

I've been under the impression for several years that I was 5 ft 5. I went to a new doc today and they took my measurements and it said I was 5 ft 3. I scoffed at them and had them re-measure me several times.
I still didn't believe them so I just had my boyfriend take a measurement and I'm 63 and some odd inches or roughly 5 ft 3.5.
I feel like I've been duped. And my BMI went from overweight to obese. WTFChuck??

Sorry sweetheart, good news is it doesn't change the fact that I'll support you no matter how many additional pounds this takes you from your goal. I won't let you let this get you down friend!!0

Time to start some serious yoga and maybe a monthly visit to the chiropractor? I generally am about 1/4 in taller the day after an adjustment!
Also, a few months ago over the course of two days I was measured 4 times and came up with 3 different measurements... haha0 -

Thank you babe0 -
I had the same thing happen, but in the opposite direction. I thought I was 5'4" and the last time I went to the doctor they said I was 5'6". I made my husband check when I got home, and I was indeed 2" taller than I thought.0

I did that too, I thought I was 5'3" but really I was 5'4". Which really sucks because I was trying to pick my weight based on my height. So I was always trying to weigh less than I should by a few pounds.
Really, I am still not over it. :laugh:0
