I am going out of the country today for three weeks to visit family. In India, they show love by feeding you lots of good food. EEK! I have a general game plan of what foods I can eat (veggies, chicken, wheat tortilas) and can't eat (rice, etc). I haven't been on MFP very long, but I have learned some stuff and am hoping I can carry these lessons with me. What tips do you all have when trying to eat healthy when traveling? I wil likely not have access to a gym or a place to run. But I am hoping to do lunges, pushups, etc at the house. I am also bringing my kindle and i think there are some workout videos I can stream.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I know what you mean about showing love with food haha! I'm half Anglo-Indian and my family are the worst!
Just try to avoid eating carbs after 3pm and say no to all those Indian sweets! Make sure to have a huge supply of bottled water and get your 8 glasses a day. Even if you can't run, try to fit in a 20 minute walk every day, you'll still burn at least 100 calories and get your metabolism going.
Have a nice trip0
