I didn't look at your profile and the photograph is blocked at work, so I presumed that you were meaning that you were the side man and that you were going to send a gift to ruin the wedding as you were jealous that her main squeeze had proposed.
Then I read you were a bridesmaid and I thought the same story except that you were the lesbian lover of your friend and that she had chosen a man rather than you.
I still can't see the gift so now I don't know what to think.

I guess I'm the only one to think what a waste of a tree it was to chop down to make such a pointless 'gift'0

This is my new favorite person on MFP!
Man, you chicks sure do get down to it with the thoughtfulness. Kudos, that's pretty cool.0 -

Guess so! But it's ok, because I am sure that I am not the only one to think... "NO one ever told this poster 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all' " The gift totally and completely has a POINT, and is lovely. I would like to extend my deepest apologies that someone peed in your cheerios this morning...have a flower. :flowerforyou:0 -

Fact: flowers don't get the pee out of anything...how about offering a fresh, unsullied bowl of cereal?0 -

HAHAHAHAHA. Its quite funny that you said that. We do sometimes call her the lesbian lumber jack.
I will describe the picture to you. Its 4 squares. In the top left box its a wooden box that has a lace bow with a gift tag saying " Will you be my" Top right is the box opened with a cute hand made dress clothes pinned to the top of the inside of the box saying Bridesmaid. Inside the box was a cute letter saying " I can't say I Do with out you" Bottom left picture is a fake ring that is pink and lights up, one of the fellow bridesmaids took the pictures & tagged all the bm's in it but she put the ring on her finger, and the bottom right picture is the little handmade wedding dress that she put inside.
Now the back of the box in a gold stamp says " Happily Ever After" its cute. I'd like to do something like that for my wedding, when ever I find a good guy like she has.0 -

This is such a cute idea! I'm actually doing a "will you be my" for both my bridesmaid & maid of honor. My MOH is my sister and my bridesmaid is my SIL. For both of them I'll be printing a photo of us and putting it in a glass frame and writing a poem for each on the back of the picture.
The poem for my bridesmaid:
"You welcomed me with open arms
When I was strange and new.
A smile so warm and so sincere,
Caring, trusting and true.
A friendship would blossom
With each passing day.
Growing stronger and brighter
In many a way.
Engaged I am now
To be married at last.
And for you, Nicola, I have
A special question to ask.
When summer 2013 is here
And I will be a blushing bride.
Would you do me the great honor
of being a bridesmaid by my side?"
And for my MOH (since she already knows she's going to be my MOH) the poem will be:
“When I walk down the aisle
On the day I say, " I do"
I'll put my flowers in your hands,
And I'll be proud to stand next to you.
You'll be the one who is by my side
On that very special day.
You'll hold my strength in your heart
Because you stand for me in so many ways.
You have walked with me many times before,
And I am blessed to have you here now.
I treasure the honor of having my sister by my side
On the day that I say my vows.
Maid of Honor is not only a symbol
But a statement of loyalty and trust.
It gives new meaning to the bond
And the devotion we have between us.
Thank you for being my Maid of Honor”0 -

I guess that might work too... I didn't have an icon that offered cereal... only flowers:laugh:
