My NSV even though I'm not "there" yet!

This is me with my hubby, December 2011. I almost didn't post this picture because of the acute embarrassment I feel looking at it.
It was definitely my low point, or rather "high point" if you will. I'm pretty sure that I topped out right around 177, although I'm not sure because I refused to get on the scale. The only other time I had weighed more was during my pregnancy, and the sad part was that the 177 was less than 10 lbs more than my pre pregnancy.
I started MFP February 1st, and since then have lost 18lbs. It's been slow, but along the way I have gained so much muscle and strength. Towards the end of March, a friend of mine got me involved in pole fitness, and I fell in love with fitness again. My loss slowed down a little, but i have felt myself getting so much stronger and have seen my abilities go from not even being able to hold myself up to.... well see for yourself, from today.

I know I'm not at my goal yet as far as the scale goes, really not even 1/2 way, but six months ago I never would have imagined being able to do something that requires so much strength and athleticism. I'm not terribly good, but I can feel myself getting better in baby steps, and I know someday I'll have the body I want-- and be able to do all the amazing things with it that I want!
