What is your favorite brand of peanut butter? I am looking to find a peanut butter that is good for me. I'm not sure which one to pick because there are so many brands, flavors, natural or not, blah blah blah. I know some people have mentioned PB2 which we don't have... so any suggestions?

I like Smucker's All Natural Peanut Butter. Maybe a little too much0

I switched from Skippy natural pb to MaraNatha almond butter. I'm quite pleases with the switch.0

Adams Crunchy Peanut Butter-I pour out a lot of the oil, but it tastes even better to me then.0

Do you live near a Trader Joes? I am obsessed with their peanut butter with roasted flaxseeds.0

When I eat it I eat Jiff. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. But the old welfare PB and cheese was the best, loved both of those.0

Smart Balance All Natural chunky because I was getting it for like $.75 with coupons, and it's not very sweet tasting which I enjoy.0

That's so funny. We used to call it government cheese. I liked to slice it off in big chunks and eat it just like that. I was a chubby kid.
For peanut butter I haven't found anything that equals the taste of plain old Jiff. I've got some Simply Jiff that I haven't opened yet. I'm curious to see what that's like.0 -
I eat natural peanut butter from the local health food store. It's just peanuts. I don't eat a lot of it though.0

You must live near me, except we have Giant Eagle as well. The nearest Whole Foods or Trader Joes is at least an hour drive away or more.0 -

I live in Indiana. I couldn't tell you how far a whole foods store is from me...maybe Indianapolis which is about an hour and 45 minute drive. An hour if you aren't driving the speed limit....0 -
I recently discovered Kraft Whipped pb...OMG its wicked good and has less calories and cards then regular pb....I LOVE peanut butter my favorite thing0

You can get free shipping if you order groceries, like PB2, from Amazon.com. That's a favorite, and Kettle Organic Unsalted PB is pretty awesome too. Honestly you'd be good with most of them as long as they don't include hydrogenated oil.0

Smuckers all natural chunky.0

I usually use Simply Jif0

skippy reduced fat - creamy....
i'ts what i grew up with....0 -
365 peanut butter (unsweetened no salt added) from Whole foods, or Naturally More with flax seed. Then, my third favorite gets the sympathy vote.... Fifty/50 natural peanut butter, because half the proceeds go to diabetic research... But honestly, any natural peanut butter will do.0

kraft whipped very good0

I just ordered the PB2 powdered peanut butter from their website... 2 tablespoons = 40 calories. I'm hoping it taste good in my Body By Vi shakes. I'll let yall know once we get it in!0

I think I've met my match. That is so me. I HIGHLY doubt we have that, but I am going to look. Thank you0 -
You should be able to find the Smucker's all natural PB. It's pretty good. If you have to have sweetened, the Skippy Natural is good, but not as good for you. I like the fresh ground stuff from the health food store but I have to drive an hour to get it. It stinks to live in the boonies, I know!!!0

I love just Walmart's natural peanut butter, my hubby loves KREMA Crunchy : )0

I don't eat PB often but my Dh loves it and loves the Smuckers Organic. He can't stand the ones that contain palm fruit oil. He really just wants one with only peanuts and maybe a tad of salt if that.0

I like Kroger Natural Creamy Peanut Butter. It's all natural and only contains peanuts and salt. You need to stir & refrigerate it. I used to like Skippy Reduced Fat Peanut Butter, but I was told it's better to eat the natural kind.0

^^^^THIS
Take it from an expert on peanut butter. This is only peanuts & salt with nothing else added. All the other "healthy" brands I've seen marketed all have other crap in them like sugar, palm oil, etc. that isn't needed. The next best alternative to the Smucker's brand is finding a place with a peanut butter grinding machine and grinding it yourself.
As a side note, because this is truly natural, the oil separates. I found that if you take a hand mixer with only one of the mixing blades installed and slowly lowering it into the PB while holding the jar firmly, you can mixed the oil in fairly quickly and then stick it in the fridge so it doesn't separate again.0 -

Even better...they have dark chocolate. And you can get it in regular grocery stores. I am not so fond of the price though. I just get whatever one that is priced right that is just peanuts or maybe a tiny amount of salt.0 -
