New Fitbit user here; just got it on Jun1, making it easy to log miles, except of course when I can't use it, like the day we went to a waterpark. It's been a fantastic motivator for me; many times I have finished putting the kids to bed, then checked out my fitbit numbers for the day to find I haven't had a particularly good day, so I go do fifty floors, or more… One night I logged 200 floors. By way of contrast, I was a complete couch potato before I started my diet/lifestyle change in January.
