Was that a typo, Alluvion? 6'1" and 115 pounds would be considered substantially underweight. =(

Body composition plays a part here. I was 5'6'' 160 in a 14 pants medium top.
now I'm 145 size 7-8 in a medium to large top (pear shaped)

I used to get so hung up on only wanting to buy mediums, but I realized some just didn't look good one me. So I accepted that the top or bottoms should LOOK good rather than be a certain size.
  • You might check out http://www.mybodygallery.com to see how women your height and weight compare. It's pretty handy.

I love that website! That is how I found out that I have a really distorted view of what I actually look like at my current weight...the way that I THINK I look actually matches the body type of people who weight 40 or so lbs. more than I do. It can be a good way to regain a sense of perspective and has reminded me not to be so self-critical and that I really don't look as fat as I think I am.

Btw, I am 5'11" 229 pounds and wear jeans size 16 (sometimes 14) and an XL or L top (I carry a lot of weight around my middle unfortunately).

170, 5'9", 10/12 in pants and medium or large in tops. Sometimes I have to go up a size in tops simply because the arm length is too short... that's why I stick with 1/2 or 3/4 sleeves instead of long sleeves.

I am 5' 5.5". I weigh 160 lbs. I wear a size either 7 or 9 in juniors or a 6 in womens for pants. For tops I normally wear a large because of my large chest. My waist could fit into a medium though. My chest would just be popping out.

I'm 215 and wear a size 14 misses jean and XL top in most sizes. If I wanted to wear a button down shirt, I would have to bump up to 1X.

    Ok, here goes.....

    Height: 5'1"
    Weight: 166
Pants: 12/14 depending on the make ( I even have a pair of capris that are a 10, but I know its only because of the fabic)
Shirt: I really feel like I am inbetween a LG and XL. XL seem so big, but LG is still a little snug. So I will say XL for now.

Dress??? LMAO, I haven't worn a dress in years! I would have NO idea!

    Bra: 36 D

I'm 5ft, 99lbs and usually a 6-8 now, but I still wear age 12 childrens clothes too in some shops because the womens sizes are too big:/

I'm 5"5, 165.5lbs and a size 14 (UK sizes) in clothing. I am probably a 12 up top, though. Not sure, as I haven't bought new clothes. Size 16s are massive on me, though, so I know I'm a 14.
  • I'm a size 16, comfortably without any extra love on the sides or front hanging out. My jeans are loose fitting around my legs, and butt. Can fit into a 14, but not confidently. I weigh 207, coming up on my first 20pds lost and have maintained the same pants size. Height is at 5'8 1/2. I'm very top heavy with a long torso, due to my chest size I stick to XL shirt sizes.
