Here it is, Sorry I didn't get it up until today. I was rather preoccupied with the life change I made yesterday. Lets work really hard this next week. I was a little surprised that I didn't lose. This week I am going to be really good. Anyone up for a challenge?

Agreed... week 2 is going to kick butt!! Let's attack week 2 of the biggest loser challenge!!
Also... congrats to all who lost lbs this week!! Looks like dawn717 is our internal biggest loser for the week! Good job!!
Just got back from a boxing class at the gym!!0 -
as much as i wanted to run 2 miles my body again did not agree with that plan. However, it did agree with me running a mile and then walking a mile. So I burned 515 calories. I borrowed the 30 day shred to a friend and i think I'm going to get it back. Its starting to get cold outside here in MN and that way I can workout right away in the morning after the kids go to school. I will finish off this week however with running. I have been looking for a cheap used treadmill with no luck thus far.
Lets go blue team on week two we can do this.0 -

Great job on keeping strong & not letting yourself down!!

Hopefully I didn't kill my treadmill this morning--My son threw a ball into my "cage" and it popped and got sucked up under with the belt. I didn't have a chance to stop it before that happened. :noway: So I folded laundry and ran each piece up the stairs for my exercise today. Hopefully that is good enough. Now to watch my calorie intake!!
I was cancelled from work last night--my third to last shift. I think I am going to go through withdrawls and grieve over this for a little while. I know I am doing the right thing, it is just a major life change!
I am eating carrots instead of the second helping of mac and cheese that I really wanted. Lets make healthy choices this week!

My soup was soooo good and I DID NOT get the oh so good brownie ( with big chocolate chips in it) I wanted it but I didi not get it.0

Good for you!! One small step of not eating a brownie is one large step for a smaller you. (a little cheesy, sorry...)

Cheesy or not I like it0

Crazy week...and it's not letting up. Luckily, I found out I am off the week after Christmas, so that gives me some much needed gym time!0

HI beatufitul blues,
Yesterday I was done with a big project for school. whew, one down, a few more to go. was too tired today to workout, but I watched my food very closely and did a good job on that. going to bed early tonight to head to the gym tomorrow morning...
Good job on the food choices smadag!
Have a lovely day all!0 -
Glad to hear that everyone is staying motivated today. I am here posting to give myself time to think of a healthy snack, because I just walked in the door and wanted a cookie. Maybe I will have fruit or yogurt. GO BLUE!0

I know everyone is trying so hard but I have to confess a major slippage today. Once a year the school has a "turkey dinner" and I ate it today  It wasn't even that good! I did log it (OMG) I really wish I hadn't. I did skip dinner but it was a stupid choice. Really it was just one of the stupid choices I used to make to get me to my current weight, but didn't do last year that helped lose 20 pounds. Duh, I can't go down that path again.
I hope you know that the beautiful blues are my strength.
Thanks.0 -
Go Blue!!
Last night I did a step aerobic's class. Kicked my butt! I'm being a super good girl this week in hopes for a loss next monday. Today is my day off from the gym.
dawn717 - ok so you ate a big meal. That's ok. One meal won't make or break you. What is important is that you get right back on the healthy path and keep on truckin'! Think about how you can make today better than yesterday. Plan your meals... that organization makes me feel so much better.0 -
Good morning blues!!
I'm w/ you Taradise, I'm trying to be super-good as well so that I can have a loss this week too!! We can do it!! The test is going to be getting through the weekend! We can do it!!! Great job on your step class (my favorite) last night. Enjoy your day off!
dawn, don't get yourself down. The good things of this experience is that you did come & log your food, you've taken responsibility & you've learned how empty overindulging on food - especially bad food - can make you/us feel. When we start viewing food as fuel rather then a reward or comfort that's when it all comes together. Easier said then done, sometimes... but it really is the key.
We're all here for you!! We're all taking this journey together!!
WE CAN DO IT!!0 -
Thank you Taradise and Sanifrey. I am doing better today, I've already had 2 waters and I packed a salad for lunch (no temptations). You are right, logging that food really makes you aware of what you put in your mouth!
Here's to a better day :flowerforyou:0 -
Still here just really busy at work - hope you all are doing great! I must drink water!!!!0
-
dawn- Good job on watching your food. Once in a while, I have a little slip with my food. What I do is drink lots of water to flush the sodium out of my body, that day and the next days. Sometimes I won't even notice the effects of eating that day.
It's that TOM for me, and didn't go to the gym. But, I did exercise at home and I have to tell ya I'm sweating so much. I did Jilliam Michael's banish fat boost metabolism, and ab Ripper X from P90 X. I must have burned around 600 calories. I don't have a heart rate monitor, so I just estimate. I might get one in the future. I did sweat a lot though.
Happy Thursday all!0
