A question of measure

Hi, I have a question....a relatively simple question and I would love a response.
When you enter your meals into your diary and the program asks you to nominate size or quantity eg. a rice dish....number of cups, do you nominate the number of cups used pre cooked or number of cups post cooked.
Thanks for any responses.
Cheers
Gav

As most of the entries in the MFP database are entered by users you have no way of knowing if they mean raw or cooked.
The easy way around it it to search for an entry that says "rice uncooked" or "rice cooked".
And another handy hint - look for database entries with no * in front. They have been entered by MFP and usually specify raw or cooked and have a range of measurements like cups, oz, grams etc.

If possible, I'd also consider going directly to the package for the rice if you still have it. You may want to take a few moments and enter it yourself just to make sure you have the right numbers. If you're using a phone/tablet, you should even be able to scan the bar code.
