Hi everyone, I'm 5'4 and i weight 140 I've tried everything and I feel like a live on a diet and it sucks. This is what i do every day: at breakfast i usually eat melon with skimmed milk, then i go to the gym and do cardio for an hour and a half. For lunch I usually eat grilled chicken with vegetables and a lemonade. Then some fruit in the afternoon and at dinner I eat tuna with a lot of veggies. I've tried every diet out there and it's really frustrating. I know people say eating more is the solution but whenever I do that i gain a lot of weight even if it's just for a few days. HEEELP ME PLEASE!!!

Do you do any weight training at all? Try adding some weight training and changing up your exercise routine. Sometimes the body gets use to things and just gets 'stuck'. Also, if you raise the amount of protein, in your diet and lower the carbs the body has doesn't burn all the protein and goes directly to the fat after the carbs, so this might work for you...plus if you are building lean muscle it is used for that too!

With a closed diary it's nearly impossible to help you. Make this a lifestyle change, whatever you choose it has to be sustainable. Eat to your calorie goal, yes that includes your exercise calories, MFP already has a deficit set for you based on the activity level you chose. Exercise, drink water and take it one day at a time!

Not much info, but it seems like you're eating too little for the amount you workout. The reason you "gain weight" when you eat more is because your body isn't used to it. It's probably mainly water weight you gain as well. You should be eating at least your BMR on a daily basis, whether you work out or not. If you slowly up your calories by 100 each week or so, you shouldn't gain weight and your body will get accustomed to having more. You should keep increasing until you reach TDEE minus about 15%.

It will make more sense if you read these:
