Is it possible to have 43% body fat at 155 pounds?
I think it's possible. I have a very small frame, 5'3" tall - at 117 lbs I have 25% body fat. My ideal weight is at the lowest end of the spectrum of healthy weight!
People always tell me I don't need to lose weight because I look small, but I have a lot of jiggle when I walk! The personal trainer at the gym told me to aim for 105 - 110.0 -

yep!! I did. I am only 5'2" and very small boned. I am still 30% fat with losing to 133 right now and working out with weights. I could easily go to 110.........I won't because I am 48 and I want some fat on my body........I like the curves (to fill in the wrinkles  )
Lemme' know if you find anything that really works to fill in the wrinkles (besides fat). Since I've lost so much I look like a prune in the places where the fat was. And none of the strength training I'm doing seems o be correcting it. Just giving me "pruny" skin over muscles. But when you're as old as I am...
34at35: Over time your skin will tighten, it takes a while for overstretched skin to return to its final resting place. Unless you lost quite a lot of weight (?) and it may not. How's that for an exact science? Keep drinking lots of water and keep your oils and fats in the right range, and you will be glowingly happy in no time :flowerforyou:
Cheryl, he lost over 100 pounds!!
I find the more water I drink, stay out of the sun and eat good healthy foods, it has helped the skin to go back ....some...I have lived 48 yrs and my body wants to brag about this........:laugh:0 -
I think you a very beatiful, that being said.
Like you said the pictures she was looking at of your body were old pictures. If she had the recent ones she might think your goals were reasonable0 -

Just forget about them. I have had a run in or two with some busy bodies on here. I know she probably thought she was being helpful and I know that alot of times we can read something and in our minds it could sound totaly different than how the writer intended. Just forget about it. Be you and be proud. You know your body and you know when you look and feel your best as long as you are happy and healthy who cares what anyone else thinks right.0
