flattering dress?

hello everyone, i'm a UK size 18 and have a night out on monday. i am very excited and i'm treating myself to a new dress or outfit. any ideas on what is flattering to cover my stomach mainly? i'm very self conscious when i go out, but i'm fed up of wearing long trousers and long sleeve tops.
so any ideas? any websites that have any tips? i can't find any really.

p.s it's a nightclub so maxi dresses are probably not the best idea, ditto jeans.

Wrap dresses are great for hiding tummy pouches. They also tend to make the girls look good with the v neck.0

I am about the same size and my mid section is what I have to hide mostly too.. I like dress that curve my booty and show off my legs but are usually looser in the mid section...0

Im a pear, and I found this dress at macys the other day.
Its got a kind of corseted top, so it sucks my belly in, and hides the *kitten* with all its fru-fru and super cute (well i think so anyway)

I agree that a wrap dress, that is designed to hug the smallest part of your body (If you are an apple will be just under your bustline).0

i carry my weight on my stomach & hips. i find a-line tops and grecian style maxi's suit me the best, worn with a big chunky necklace to draw the eye up
