You can do it!! I'm heavy and I LOVE doing it. I don't always keep up 100%, but it is fun and you can definitely see yourself getting better and better, which keeps you going. And it comes with a fit test that shows how much progress you are making, which gives you something to look forward to (you take the test every two weeks), and keeps you motivated big time. Good luck!!

    Do you have a coach?

    You don't need a coach.
A couple things you might want to be aware of:
There's lots of jumping and running in place and these are important to the program so if you've had back problems or knee problems, this may not be the best program for you.
I've had a couple discs fused from Kayaking injuries and I can't do the power jumps but at 45 years old, I'm able to do most everything else.

I've done P90 X for the 90 days and Crossfit through a local hospital, the Chalean Extreme, Jillian ....then INSANITY....HATED EVERY MINUTE of it. It is ALL cardio (no weight training) and done by fitness extremist:) My favorite by far and the one I've seen amazing results from is from Beachbodies.com (Chalean extreme).....check it out!

It's not bad. I've done it for a while though I haven't done all of it. It's tiring but not undo-able. my legs killed for the first few days and I've experienced P90X's plyometrics so I was surprised about that. The only advice I have is do your best to keep up but don't beat yourself up if you cant. as long as you're feeling it you're doing alright.

I love Insanity it keeps me interested and wanting to push harder. I've tried P90X and never have made it through all the way, but this I love. You've got to find something that keeps you interested that's for sure. Good luck!

Switch your coach then...all it takes is a phone call. I sent you a message...your coach should be there to support and motivate you and should be helping you pick the program that best fits your needs, not just collect their commissions on all the programs you're buying. I'm a coach and that's not how I handle my customers. I'm there with them every step of the way, evaluate their needs and help them find the RIGHT program for them rather than just selling. And I check in with them periodically and do my best to motivate them. I got my results from ChaLEAN Extreme...my profile pic is Day 60 on ChaLEAN...

I have two weeks left in Insanity and I did the 13 weeks of P90X. I miss the weights of P90X, but love how I am covered in sweat at the end of Insanity.

I love insanity, I have done it 3 times and seem to keep going back to it. Once you do all other cardio seems too easy. The first two week are difficult but after that your get conditioned to Shaun T beating, lol. It does not get easier, but well worth it.

The 1st time I did Chalean extreme.....I did NOT lift heavy enough. When she say's "you should be dying" by whatever rep....if you are not....you do need to lift heavier. The 2nd time I did it....my body changed a lot. I have friends from work come over to my house and we do it together. We do the weights (Burn 1-2-3 on M-W-F) and alternate her aerobic choices (Burn-it off, Burn intervals, Lean intervals, Fat burner cfhallenge) T & Th with an Ab. work-out.....GOOD LUCK TO YOU:)
