You must be tall! Cause I'm I've only gone from an 18 to 16 can tightly fit in 14's. Wish I could do that!0

We are right around the same! I started MFP last June at 216 and am now 175! I actually got down to 155 in December but have put back on 20 lbs! That's ok - I'm back on it and am trying to focus on how far I've come and not how far I have left to go or how close I was and let it go!! Good luck and great progress so far!!:happy:0

This is GREAT!
I thin when I am able to get into a size 8 I will faint clean away0 -
You must be pretty tall. I started at 212.6 & I am 165 right now, went from a size 18/20 down to a 10 but I am only 5'2...It is totally an amazing feeling. I still have about 29 lbs to go and then I am going to reassess my goals but I also haven't been pushing myself as hard, I have been so lazy. I know what to do, I just got to do it!
Congrats to you!
Actually I'm only 5' 3".0 -
Omigoodness! We are twins! We have lost the exact same amount of weight and are the exact same size! Congrats on your progress!!
We must be doing something right then!! :happy:0 -
Congratulations!
I am 5'4 and started at 217 the 3rd weekend of May. I p[lateaued HARD after 3 weeks and have just finally broken into Onederland. The think I have noticed is the significiant changes in my physique. While I have only lost 17 lbs, I have dropped 2 sizes, went from a 38DD to a 34C, lost 3" from waist, 3.5 from hips, and 2" from my thighs. I am taking a low carb apporach so don't watch calories so much. I also try to keep some of the cholesterol down by choosing some vegetarian meat substitutions from Morningstar.
I was noticing you mention having trouble with losing the mid section and that your workouts aren't much inclusive of weight lifting... might I suggest changing it up some and adding in some light weights to work those areas you want to tone? It has worked wonders for me and only takes a few extra minutes....
Congrats on Onederland!!! Yes, I need to start doing some weights to tone up for sure!!0 -
Great job. Im also down 29lbs but one only clothing size. Hmmm....0

I lost 12 pounds before starting MFP so that surely has something to do with it. Just keep going!!! :flowerforyou:0 -
AWESOME CONGRATS!!!!! I'm not to far behind. I started at a size 20W and weighted 224. I now am in a size 12 and weigh 177. I started on 1/3/2012 and I'm not done yet. Hope to reach the first goal of 50lbs lost by the end of the month and then probably 29 more.
Keep on keepin on...we can do it! :bigsmile:0 -
Awesome Job..Congrats..I have 45lbs.too go..Thanks for sharing..:)0

good for you! I cried when I packed up all my 1X and XL clothes so I know how great it feels. I'm only down to a size 14 but it feels great! Hopefully I can make it to an "8" someday0

Jealous. I wish I could have lost that much that fast. I was a US20 two years ago and I'm only a US16 now. Good job though!0

I've been cleaning out my closet a lot lately!! And giving it all away...not going back there! You will get there too! Trust me, the last time I recall being able to fit into a size below a 10 was....well, I guess before high school! :noway:0 -

I guess it just depends on where you lose it from first....mine seems to be coming off my legs/arms, and chest...:ohwell:0 -

Mine is mostly from my midsection and a little from the bust. The other measurements have moved minimally. I seem to do everything slower than everyone else oh well, I'll get there someday maybe. *shrug* >.<0 -
Wow that is great! I'm only 5''2. How are you doing it? I'm still trying to fit into my size 14 comfortably.0

That is awesome...that is exactly the progress I'm hoping for!!!0

It's amazing how different we all are. I am 5'3'' also, 169 lbs and just squeeze into a size 12. I'm so jealous! Congrats, girl!0
