diets and body types...

Does anyone happen to know if there are certain diets that work better for certain body types? I'm tall and muscular and my weight is evenly distributed through out my body. My friend on the other hand is short and petite and most of her weight goes to her stomach, chest, and face regions. We have both been doing a low carb diet but she seems to have more success with it (she's lost 85 and I've lost 75 and she doesn't even do as good as me with diet and exercise!!). I was just trying to figure out if it would be more effective for me to do a different diet for my body type.

If you are muscular you have less weight (fat) to loose, therefore she is loosing more as she has more to loose.

The Curves for Women book outlines two different diets for different body types. One is a low carb (that's me), and I don't know what the other one is. Maybe you're the other type?
  • Thanks for the help guys! I've decided to switch to Jillian Michaels "Master your metabolism" diet and I think it's going to work really well. I've been doing it today and I already feel healthier and energized. It is harder; however, because I'm not used to counting calories.
  • LOL! I almost reported you! Whoops! Anyway I am going to be doing the vegan cleanse. Its supposed to give you lots of energy and make you really healthy.

I looked into doing this too!
how are you doing it? are you doing the two weeks she outlined, and doing the 'food math' thing? or are you just eating clean?
