New from Alabama

Hi All, I am new to My Fitness Pal. My cousin introduced me a few months ago and I have not been very diligent about logging in and tracking my food and exercise. However, my husband, in an effort to get us all healthier, has issued a 30 day challenge for me and our daughters and today is Day 1 of the challenge. Nothing drastic in the challenge -- for 30 days we have to cut out fried food, fast food, soft drinks, and sweets. We have to eat at least 1 fruit a day, drink at least 8 glasses of water and walk for 20 minutes outside every day. These are just basic healthy lifestyle changes that I hope I can stick to for the next 30 days and beyond. Wish me luck!
