Are you growing a garden?

Yes I am! I've got:
Lettuce
Cucumbers
Zucchini
Big Red Tomatoes
Yellow Pear tomatoes (like cherry tomatoes except they're pear shaped and yellow)
Red Bell Peppers
Jalapeno Peppers
Basil
Thai Basil
Cilantro
So far, the only thing that hasn't produced SOMETHING is my cucumber plant and my jalapeno plant. My zucchini plant is dying though because of the excessive heat and no rain we're getting. Everything else is slowly producing. I just wish they could get a break from the heat and some water that didn't come out of a tap!0 -
Our garden is not so great this year... isn't growing well at all so we'll see what comes out of it in the end!
Tomatoes, cherry and roma
hot peppers
green peppers
squash
pumpkins
cukes
Here's to hoping!:drinker:0 -

awww you have GOATS!? i always wanted to have goats...thats awesome! except when they break into your garden....BAD GOATS!!
I have the same problem with Deer around here....there are so many...I almost get mad at them and then I remember that if I had to live outside in 100+ heat and see my brethren smooshed along the roads all the time, I would eat peoples gardens too.0 -
I LOVE gardening! This year I'm growing spinach, tomatoes, green beans, carrots, okra, turnips, sunflowers, cantaloupe, cucumbers, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, and lettuce. I feel like I'm forgetting something LOL. We also have a blackberry patch and an apple tree. Used to grow grapes, too, but not this year.0

We have 4 raised beds that are 5 x 10 and grow: lettuce, anaheim and poblado peppers, Japanese eggplant, basil, several heirloom tomatoes, zucchini, rhubarb, cucumbers, parseley, chive, greek oregano, tarragon, asparagus, rosemary, thyme, dill, parsnips, carrots, and mystery melons. The mystery melons are compost volunteers and we have no clue what they are. We also have three citrus trees; two satsumo mandarins nad one blood orange. We garden in Southern California so we can grow things all year long.0

We've tried but it's hard being in a rental. at the moment we have a herb garden with chives, oregano, thyme and... rosemary i think it is. we keep trying tomatoes but the birds steal them the second they're ripe.0

My garden is awesome this year and we're not even at full capacity yet! We have Kentucky Wonder beans, lima beans, snow peas, lettuce, kohlrabi, garlic, zucchini, beefsteak tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, yellow pear tomatoes, pumpkins, sugarbaby watermelons, peach trees, plum trees, passion fruit, bell peppers, jalapenos, three kinds of mint, sage, cilantro, basil, lemongrass, lavender, catnip...spaghetti, summer, and winter squash, and cucumbers. Maybe some other stuff that I am forgetting.
Gardening has been so rewarding this year!0 -

Try container gardening. You can get a tomato plant and a couple of leaf lettuce plants into a medium sized planter. We use pallets as a raised bed. They are easy and free to find most places.0 -

We grow a garden every year. Its a true passion of my husband and I. We grow blackberries, broccoli, 2 long trellises of cucumbers, many different variety of tomatoes, zuchinni, summer squash, onion, cabbage and herbs.
We are going through 8 plus days of well over 100F degree heat and are in a very serious drought. So saying our garden is a labor of love is an understatement.:glasses:0 -
