It's cups, not glasses. A cup is 8 ounces.0

There are 16 cups in a gallon. MFP counts cups of water. You should be drinking 8 8-ounce glasses a day. Be careful of too much water. Sounds crazy - I know. My family doctor said you can drink too much water and wash away important nutrients and electrolytes from your system.0

1 gallon = 128 ounces and 8 ounces = 1 cup. So you should log 16 cups, I decided to say all of this just in case you wanted to know why as well.0
