For those of you living in Southern/Central Ontario, and surrounding areas, we're hitting record highs today!
Toronto's record is 34.7, at 2:00 the mercury was hitting 34.4.
If you're working out, keep it indoors, in an air conditioned building. No sense in killing yourself outside, just to burn a few extra calories.

Welcome to Texas?
Our mean summer temp is 40C.0 -
It's a hot summer! Southern Indiana is forecasted to reach 105 F tomorrow.0

Here in the England we are right in the height of summer - as record floods sweep the country!0

Welcome to Texas?
Our mean summer temp is 40C.
The difference between Texas and Ontario is we get humidity, which prevents us from being able to cool our bodies from sweating. It's pretty dry today (25% relative) but it's often more like 60-80%. Was 98% this morning.
I wouldn't mind some dry heat!0 -
100 degrees in Chicago for the last 3 days in a row!!! Hottt!!!!!0
-
The humidity is horrible! My car said 37 degrees around 10 this morning...can just imagine what it is now0

We have humidity too... particularly along the coast and just inland from there... and in North Central Texas we have less than the Coast but more humidity than the West...0 -
I love this weather.. free sauna. I get in the car, leave the windows up and the doors closed and sit for 10 mins. Then I'm ready to open them wide and no need for AC because the moving air feels so cool!
Plus I clean out the toxins in the muscles during my sauna stint!! love it!!0 -
If you want to work out outside this weekend folks keep it EARLY! (or late...but it would have to be VERY late) did a 10k at 5am this morning and it felt great! though by the time I got back in at 6:15 it was starting to feel rather warm!
And remember, drink tons of water!0 -
Hotter than Hades in Michigan, too. Currently 100F, but 'feels like' 110F.
I was walking laps inside the building where I work during lunch (5 laps is 2 miles - yes, it's that big) and some guy said "You should be doing that outside" as I buzzed past him. Yeah, right, NOT TODAY.0 -
Sitting here in MN where it has been 100 but with heat index it feels like 110. Not to mention humidity. It has been a ponytail week for me.0

Right now Houston is at 34C and 50% humidity.0

Our mean summer temp is 40C.
It's not the 40C I mind in the summer, it's the transition from -40 in the winter to 40 in the summer, nothing like vacillating between extremes on a yearly basis!0 -
Drink plenty of water, stay inside when you can (with fans or some type of air cooler)... and honestly, the morning is probably the best time to exercise in this heat.0
-
Here in Lamar Colorado we tied for the nations hottest spot! We have had about 3 weeks straight of 105-115 degrees non stop!
It is hottness out here.0 -
100F in Florida with 50% humidity.0

Yeah, that's where I feel bad for you guys... we are used to it and we barely go below 0C in the winter.0 -

It's been way too high (110 heat index today 43+C) here in Indiana for quite a while. It's expected to drop to 85 (29C) Sunday and we're jumping for joy.0

I'm in the Pacific Northwest and it has been chilly here (65, cloudy and rainy) with only a few days here and there of decent weather, so I am happily taking the hot weather that started yesterday and will continue into next week!!
Bring on SUMMER!!!0 -
I'd love me some 34 degree weather right now (says the person who's had no A/C for almost a week in 100+ degree heat)
depends on which temperature scale... I just wish I wasn't stuck inside all summer long... being a grown up sucks....0 -

34C = 94F. It's hot, not freezing. :P0 -

Thinking about it!! I heard tourism is slow now, so it is the perfect time to come! Can I stay at your house?0 -

Ha-ha, I hear you! We are in Wales - one of the wettest parts of the UK - but thankfully no flooding yet. It would be biblical by proportion to flood where we are anyway as we are 600ft above sea level  However, we have friends in Cumbria who have already been flooded out once and it seems there is another lot on the way over the next few days - I feel so very sorry for them :sad:0 -
With heat index, it's current 110F (44C) here. I am so thankful for A/C it's unreal.0

Not bad.
I ran last night with 100 degree actual temp and 115 heat index.
Hydration is always important, everyday, all day.0 -

Last years summer was ruined when they mentioned the word drought this year it's hose pipe ban, now the only reason to use a hose pipe is to get the water out of flooded homes :-(0
